Cinderella's Maids ("we," "us," or "our") provides professional cleaning services and operates this website (the "Site"). By using our services or accessing the Site, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. Please read these Terms of Use carefully before scheduling services. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services or the Site.
1. Safety
- For the safety of our employees, we cannot:
- Move heavy objects or flip mattresses.
- Clean biohazardous materials, including vomit, blood, urine, or excrement.
- Our employees may refuse service if evidence of pests or rodents (e.g., cockroaches, mice, bed bugs) is found.
- We do not tolerate harassment or bullying of our employees. By using our services, you agree not to make derogatory or offensive statements toward our staff, directly or indirectly.
- If our employees feel their safety is at risk and must leave the premises, you remain responsible for the full cost of the scheduled service.
2. Scheduling
- We provide a 2-hour arrival window for scheduled services. If you require a specific arrival time, please inform us when booking, and we will accommodate if possible.
3. Service Limitations
- We cannot move furniture over 15 lbs.
- Employees will not climb higher than a 2-step ladder but will use extension tools for hard-to-reach areas.
- Biohazardous areas (e.g., mold, hoarding, animal excrement, or litter boxes) will not be cleaned.
- We do not clean blinds, drapes, or similar items.
4. Property Preparation
- Please declutter your home before our team arrives to ensure efficient cleaning.
- If the property is not decluttered, additional fees for deep cleaning may apply.
5. Payment
- We accept MasterCard and Visa.
- Full payment is required 24 hours before your scheduled cleaning. Failure to pay in advance will result in the cancellation of your appointment.
6. Cancellation & Lock-Out Fees
- If we are unable to access your home (e.g., incorrect lockbox code, faulty locks, or no one present), a fee of 50% of the scheduled service cost will apply.
- Ensure security alarms are deactivated or provide us with the necessary code.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
- If you are not satisfied with our services, notify us within 24 hours. We will assess your request and may schedule a re-clean.
- No refunds or partial refunds are offered. Re-cleans must be requested on the same day as the original service.
8. Booking Confirmation
- Booking online does not guarantee service at your requested time. Confirmation will be sent via email, and you are encouraged to call to confirm your appointment.
9. Refunds/Re-Cleans
- Refunds are only issued if we fail to confirm or arrive at the service location.
- Re-cleans must be requested within 24 hours of service. Requests made after this period will not be honored.
10. Valuables
- Secure irreplaceable or valuable items before service. We are not liable for damage or loss of such items.
11. Damages
- We are not responsible for damage due to faulty or improper installation of items (e.g., loose shelves, unsecured pictures).
- Notify us within 24 hours of any damages caused during cleaning. Failure to notify us within this time frame may result in denial of compensation.
- We are not liable for pre-existing damages or normal wear and tear on surfaces, including floors, walls, or fixtures.
12. Pricing
- Cleaning fees may be adjusted annually to reflect rising business costs. We will provide advance notice of any price changes.
13. Employee Solicitation
- Our employees are carefully trained and invested in. Hiring Cinderella's Maids employees directly will result in a $2,500 fee if done while they are employed by us or within three years after their employment ends.
14. Changes to Terms
- We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on our Site, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of these changes.
15. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Illinois. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Chicago, Illinois.
